Two ominous bits of news emerged last week… one
environmental, the other political.
1. ENTERING A “DEATH SPIRAL”
Melting ice opens up North-west and North-east passages
simultaneously. Scientists warn Arctic icecap is entering
a 'death spiral'
Open water now stretches all the way round the Arctic,
making it possible for the first time in human history to
circumnavigate the North Pole, New satellite images,
taken only four days ago, show that melting ice last week
opened up both the fabled North-west and North-east
passages.
Last Saturday night Professor Mark Serreze, a sea ice
specialist at the official US National Snow and Ice Data
Center (NSIDC) noted that the Arctic icecap may now have
entered a "death spiral".
Some scientists predict that it could vanish altogether
in summer within five years, a process that would, in
itself, greatly accelerate.
The opening of the passages would mean that shipping
companies could cut thousands of miles off their routes
by sailing round the north of Canada and Russia.
Four weeks ago, tourists had to be evacuated from Baffin
Island's Auyuittuq National Park because of flooding from
thawing glaciers. Auyuittuq means "land that never melts".
Two weeks later, in an unprecedented sighting, nine
stranded polar bears were seen off Alaska trying to swim
400 miles north to the retreating icecap edge.
But it is the simultaneous opening – for the first time
since the post_Flood ice age – of the North-west passage
around Canada and the North-east passage around Russia
that promises to deliver much the greatest shock.
Until recently both have been blocked by ice.
Shipping companies are already getting ready to exploit
the new routes. The Bremen-based Beluga Group says it
will send the first ship through the North-east passage –
cutting 4,000 nautical miles off the voyage from Germany
to Japan – next year.
Four weeks ago, a seven-year study at the University of
Alberta reported that – besides shrinking in area – the
thickness of the ice had dropped by half in just six
years.
It suggested that the region had "transitioned into a
different climatic state where completely ice-free
summers would soon become normal".
“What does it mean to people in general?” asks a science
editor.
“It means that living on or near the coast (and near
equals anything within 75-100 miles of flat land) is
a highly dangerous bet - not to mention expensive when
your home floods continually - notice how they have
evacuated all of New Orleans again?
“This is the death knell for our coastlines,” he warns.
“Cities like Charleston, Boston, Washington DC and
anything on the coast are slated to be wiped out over the
next 10 years or sooner due to the increase in severity
and frequency of storms and hurricanes.
"This doesn't even take into account what would happen
if a glacial cliff in the Arctic or Antarctic the size
of Maine were to suddenly and simply shear off falling
into the ocean.
“The melting of polar ice will undoubtedly cause the
ocean levels to rise, and, with the more violent storms
that we are now experiencing, all coastlines will become
quite more dangerous.”
RUSSIAN “SLEEPER” AGENTS ACTIVATED IN US
Meanwhile on the political front, something more ominous
looms.
Reports now circulating in the Kremlin state that
'someone' appears to have 'activated' Russia's 'deep core
sleeper agents' in America.
These are members of Russia's most powerful Department 12
of Directorate S Foreign Intelligence Service known as
Sluzhba Vneshney Razvedki (SVR), to begin attacks on the
United States homeland.
The existence of Russian sleeper agents in the West was
confirmed by former KGB spymaster, Alexander Kouzminov
who had headed the ultra-secret unit, Department 12 of
Directorate S. prior to his defection to the West.
He confirmed the placement of agents in Western
countries, along with biological and nuclear weapons to
be used in time of war.
Most chilling of former Director Kouzminov's revelations
to the West of his directorate’s work was his stating the
ominous warnings of 'Day X':
"The formula 'Day X' in our documents meant the beginning
of a large-scale war against the West. Our Department 12
(together with Department 8, - in charge of preparing
acts of sabotage and terror on the enemy's territory in
an event of a large scale military conflict.
The “potential strike targets” are:
* Army targets
* public drinking-water supplies,
* food stores, and processing plants;
* water purification systems;
* vaccine, drug and toxin repositories;
* pharmaceutical and biotechnological plants, and
* the economy.
These were to be targeted in the event of a large-scale
war or a local military conflict of the Soviet Union.
Russian Intelligence Analysts reporting to Prime Minster
Putin are now stating that a 'Day X' attack has, indeed,
occurred in the United States with the massive explosion
at the Bayer Crop Science Bio Weapons Plant in West
Virginia.
This was listed as a 'high priority' target by Department
12 of Directorate S, since it was owned (since 1925) by
the giant Nazi German chemical and weapons firm IG Farben
and also controlled by Bush family’s Carlyle Group.
Dr Nikolai Sokov, senior research associate at James
Martin Center for Non-proliferation Studies at Monterey
Institute of International Studies, says:
"It is time to seriously contemplate World War III. The
most important elements are already in place. Just as so
many experts on the Caucasus have predicted, the region
has become a power keg and the main source of great-power
rivalry."
